Each episode of The Professors on WYCC PBS Chicago delivers intelligent, in-depth and stimulating conversations about powerful education issues like safety, unions, tenure, online learning, and immigration. The Professors aims to elevate the level of discourse on the airwaves in a half-hour discussion of issues and ideas. Each Sunday at 10:30 a.m., a different group of outspoken professors from the City Colleges of Chicago offer their thoughts, opinions and ideas.

CM! Winters Palacio is an innovative library change agent and inaugural Bill & Melinda Gates Millennium Scholar. Her areas of research interests include the oral histories and information-seeking behavior of the working class in the Chicago metropolis, as well as the library in the life of the user. She is an alumna of DePaul University (B.A.) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (M.S.) and completed doctoral studies at The Florida State University. Follow her on Twitter: @CMWP2011

Ted Williams III is a tenured faculty member who teaches Political Science at Kennedy-King College and Chicago State University. He holds degrees in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago (M.P.P. ‘02), and Rutgers University (B.A. ‘98) where he studied under former New Jersey Governor Jim Florio.
